I am a Ph.D. student working with Dr. Andruid Kerne at the Interface Ecology Lab. I am interested in human centered approaches, fluid information systems, the Semantic Web and web semantics, pattern recognition and machine learning approaches and their application in supporting and creating human friendly, sense-making interface and interaction.
Currently, I am working on meta-metadata, a language, architecture and repository for modeling, extracting and bridging web semantics. With support of S.IM.PL and S.IM.PL cross-language system, meta-metadata enables information flow across various boundaries between servers, clients, applications and programming languages, transforming the web into an ecosystem of semantics and semantics-aware applications. Check it out and build your own semantics-aware applications. Besides working on the language design and software itself, I am also working on scaling it up with database backends and web services.
I am also working on a project that uses Wikipedia knowledge repository to support semantics and knowledge extraction from the web, in order to support sense-making in applications.
I got my Bachelor's Degree from the College of Computer Science and Technology in Zhejiang University, at the beautiful city of Hangzhou in China, in 2009.
